Service Award and Retirement Programs

Farmer John has been a Southern California staple since practically forever. The Clougherty Family’s commitment to high-quality MEATS transformed their humble Vernon farm into the farm of the West.

HR leadership was looking for a creative and meaningful way of showing appreciation to their retirees upon completion of a successful career.  The PaintMyStory Historical Montage was the perfect way to highlight the company's intriguing history, then allow each celebrated employee to become a visual part of this unique California success story.

Georgia Pacific was looking for a way of sharing the many aspects of their corporate history, culture and philosophies in a medium that could be shared by their employees and customers.

Our personalized art montage program seemed to be just the right approach. This original montage was created by PaintMyStory with the expressed objective of having flexible individualization options. The artist strategically utilized the unique image of fog settling in a forest as a way of leaving some open space in the composition without the piece appearing to be unfinished.

This illustration is able to be completed with custom text, a single portrait with text inscription or a dual-portrait "Then and Now" look showing the employee when they joined GP an how they look upon retirement. It's a very powerful message of inclusion, value, respect and appreciation.

Ralphs Grocery Company, a large Los Angeles based grocery store chain, saw the PaintMyStory program as a way to show appreciation to key employees and other contributors to the industry.

We prepared this beautiful montage on the history of Ralphs. Historical elements like the Founder, Mr. Ralphs, and his first store in sepia tone, then slowly move into full color for the more current elements. The portraits are blended in to create a piece that visually makes each recipient a central character in the history of this proud and successful organization.

While originally developed as a long service and retirement award, when Cornell University celebrated the 25th Anniversary of its Home Study Program, we prepared a special piece with Cornell's Bell Tower added into the Ralphs story as a special gift. It was received with surprise and appreciation, and hangs at the Ithaca, New York campus as a constant memento of the programs success with corporate supporters like Ralphs.

Kinze Manufacturing has a colorful history beginning when Jon Kinzenbaw founded Kinze Welding in 1965 with an investment of $681. After moving from green to the now well-know Kinze blue, their growth has been steady. Today Kinze occupies a 160 acre campus and has over 750 employees.

Kinze management was looking for a way to share their story and core values with long service employees, customers and suppliers who were instrumental in the company's growth and success.

Using a transition from the older, black and white images to full color, the artist captured the Kinze transformation from a small Iowa welding shop to one of top designers and manufacturers of high end farming equipment. Their sophisticated planters and harvesting augers lead the industry in design and productivity.

Farmers Insurance Group is proud of their history and wanted to make the story a part of their company's service recognition program. This montage was created to feature many of the symbols and images, both past and present, that represent the company's capabilities, philosophies and goals.

The original montage was created with a two level approach in mind. Personalized text is added for Level 1. A retiree's portrait can also be added with or without text inscription.

This award was used to honor Farmers employees starting at 20 years of service as one of a large selection of award options.
